- Exchange Visitor: In this context refers to participants in the J-1 Exchange Visitor Program in the categories Professor, Research Scholar, Short Term Scholar, Student Intern, and Specialist.
- Faculty-Led (Study Abroad) Program: These programs are designed and led by OSU faculty for OSU students with coursework connected to faculty expertise.
- Optional Practical Training, Curricular Practical Training, and Academic Training: These programs offer international students the opportunity to complete an internship or gain work experience before or after completing their degree or program.
