President's Reception for International Students

OSU President Jayathi Murthy warmly invites all international students to join her for coffee and conversation.
World Languages and Cultures Fair
Nov. 19, 1-4pm, SEC Lobby
Practice everyday expressions in multiple languages and participate in cultural activities. Join faculty and fellow students to learn about our World Languages & Cultures program, heritage language education, linguistics, language teaching, study abroad, and more!
Provost's Reception for International Scholars and Employees
Nov. 21, 5-6:30pm, MU Main Lounge
This reception celebrates our international faculty, the rich partnerships between faculty and visiting international scholars, and the global collaborations happening at OSU every day. The event is open to the entire university community. Light refreshments will be served.
Global Community and Culinary Heritage Celebration
Nov. 20, 6-8pm, MU Ballroom
The OSU community is invited to sample cultural dishes prepared by domestic and international student teams while thinking about the role of cultural dishes at our university and cultivating a greater appreciate of food as cultural heritage.

Paintings by Nigerian artist and OSU 3rd year PhD student in Mathematics, Victory Chiamaka Obieke.
"My paintings explore the vibrancy of African culture, from the strength of our mothers to the colors of our fabrics, the dance, the music, the hustle, and bustle that shape our daily lives."
